Make plans to come out Sunday the 25th for the 55th Anniversay of the oldest continually run dragstrip in Texas. Yello Belly dragstrip in Grand Prairie, TX. For the special event all racers will get a free pitp*** which means you actually get to make p***es for free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! $8 dollar admission to get in, and racers that need extra pit p***es they will be half off $3 bucks So load them cars, trucks, or motorcycles and head on out to help celebrate such a awesome time. Thinking of coming out with the kids they LOVED it for the nostalgia nationals. If so, I need to looks some of you up, haven't met most of you yet.
will try and get something old out and make the trip over...need to work on the trailer for a little trip though...like unloading the banjos rearends on it - could put off greasing bearings until Monday...

Rusty. I lived in Ridglea in Ft. Worth and used to race there in the early '60's. I hope the run out area is longer than it used to be. Can you post some pictures? Seems like I remember us starting under one of those tin roofs because it extended the strip just a little for shut down. Any of you guys remember Green Valley and the run out going uphill at the end. Skip in Houston
well after unloading the trailer - I hopped on the little Honda and cruized over...really good group of folks showed up but had to leave a little early... here are some pics...
Good times, thanks to all that came out and helped support this, they always love having us out, and we ran the fastest p*** todates so far with the anglia, finally some 1.50 60 footers
