Looking for some answers on Model A axels

My buddy has some questions about Model A axels on a build he is doing.

Will 51 Ford truck spindles and backing plates fit on Model A axels?

Will whole 51 axel fit on Model A?

Also any info, diagrams or other for 40 Ford rear ends. He has a problem with one in that one side is froze or stuck, other side spins ok.

Truck axles will fit the A axle.
The axle won't fit the A cross spring without some fabbing.
The rear end sounds like the brake on one side is seized up.
