Well it was HOT AS HELL today in NJ @ FUNNY CAR REUNION / CAR SHOW in Englishtown, Nj .. A typical scorcher temps in the 90's with a track temp 110. A great showing of Hot Rods, NETO cars, Gassers and Funny Cars making it a great day.

Frank ..Did it rain b4 the finals ?? ...I left around 3 with Charlie and his 10 sec Streetable Nova. It rained like a monsoon all the way home

Al, we got our 2 runs in, then one more pair and it rained. It stopped about 5. Then I left. They canceled the rest of the show. Had a dry ride home. for once.

Yea,, I know ......at the "Jersey Shore" with the wife and kids.....water is warm weather is hot ,surf is up,,,,,but packed with people,,,,,feel like Im at Times Square on NewYears Eve,,,,, i should of been racing!....

Yes, the weather was hot, and we did get the inevitable downpour, HOWEVER, there's no denying that the time we did manage to get in was fun for everyone... Thanks for sharing the many photos you posted on these pages... The display cars were dazzling... East Coast Gassers were dressed to impress... "Backseat Drivers" in ferocious Front Engine Diggers assaulted the strip... North East Timing Organization were out in force... Nostalgia Stockers were sweet... The Funny Cars did a nice job despite the heat (I listed some of the F/C performances in my other thread)... It was nice to see Barbara Santucci, Bruce Larson and others at Sat night's meet 'n' greet dinner... I know that "Jungle" Pam and I were asked to judge the "Back Up Girl" contest, but like Pam, I too thought that's a man's job... Walter Frey and the entire E'Town staff put in a maximum effort to make this event a most memorable one... Thanks to those who visited me at the Drag Racing Underground tent... Time to cool off and get ready for next year... "The Doc" (Celebrity Drag Racing Authority & Visionary)...
