This car was built and in VA for several years. I just got it from a guy in WI. He only titled it, never had plates. I got it done yesterday with no problem. Our young sheriff has no idea any way. This tag just looks like something from ebay. Reg. rivets too.
That would be a typical state assigned tag. If it is a real Virginia tag and it matches a Virginia title it should be 100% legit.
if the rivets have part of the shank sticking out the are probably the one they supply to be installed with a hammer ! instead of a pop rivet hollow rivet Ben
are there supposed to be special rivets? I have to move my vin tag from my old dash,to my new dash, original tag, also has the stamped numbers right in the upper part of the firewall, and I belive in one door jamb, they look like pop rivets anyway, has anyone had a problem with nit picking about rivets?
starting in the 60's they started using rosette rivets at the factory. They are six sided instead of round. That was one reason i was wondering about mine.
hmm mine are round, car is off topic, but they look identical to pop rivets. everything matches, and they all match the original title, so I guess they can't give me too much trouble.
