  6. Steve Fitch in Wichita owned it from the late 70's until 84 or 85 When Rick bought it from him. He might have color info. he said it was painted at Earl Schib for 99.95 before he got it from Universal.

    I went through this a couple months back centari is no more so I had to go with nason urethane single stage the year is 70-75 general motors corp sunflower yellow code 52 hope this helps it looked bang on to me!!

    Ok just to put this all to rest for those of you who want the original paint code. I talked to the man who painted the coupe amung other car for the film and he said and I quote. "I am the only one who knows the color put on that car" And he wasn't sharing the code with me. Altho he did quiet up when I said what I was doing. So I must be close. (don't ask) Do your home work and pick a color you like. In the end it's your car and you drive it. What looks good to you!
