Here is a few pics of the latest Hot Rod to leave my shop. This was a 5 year build. This car started out as a wreck that probably shouldn't have been restored. Every piece of metal had tons of work done, and the rest was hand formed. Its running a blown 392 Hemi (didn't they come stock with them?). the owner wanted to stay period correct for the build, maybe a little on the nicer side as far as the upholstery as it will be street driven but, over all, I think we got it right.
That is certainly the way they looked in the '60s. You and your shop did a great job on the Willy's, and it's a great showcase of your talents. Terrific.
Brad...........That Willys came out wicked pissah. I hope you can put up some more photos for us to see. Nice job NOS! Did you hook up with Leon yesterday. His Willys needs everything. You're the guy that can do it. Jim
I will put up some pics later today, some before and after shots. Thanks everyone for the kind words, and the best part is when they leave. Nothing bad about the customer, its just like a marriage for that amount of time, its crazy. End result, another Willys saved.
It has a tube bumper although not on the car in the pics. I have to figure out how to get some old floppy disc files downloaded to a CD as the new computer doesn't have a port for the floppy disc. Once I do that tonight, I'll post a bunch of pics. Here are a couple more.
Inside the trunk, The spot below the filler cap, was on the lense. I'm not a photographer by any stretch. Disgustin, I talked to Leon and think I have some resolutions for him.
