Hi all, Just thought I would join up. My interests are old engines and older rides. I am an engine reconditioner (currently in IT) and still dabble in rebuilding engines in my spare time. I have done lots with early side valves from Continentals to Fords, from pouring bearings to making valves. Not forgetting more recent engines as well. I have been reading through some of the threads and I am amazed at the traditional builds that are going on. I look forward to reading some good stuff from you guys. Good forum too. Cheers A
Welcome aboard AFL. There is always room for more expert information on the older style Engine builds on this forum. Glad to have another Aussie on board also.
Howdy from across the ditch. What sort of rides have you got? Any project stuff? Check mine out here. http://www.nz-hotrod.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=4984
G'day Lifestylz, I don't have any rides but I am interested in what others are doing. Just reading of what people are doing is great. I like the fact that this forum is all about pre 64. Real cars where made back then. I am fairly well clued up with engine reconditioning principals (Once owned a machine shop) and if I can be of any help to anyone on the site with how things are machined, or how does this work type stuff, I will be happy to share AFL
