A little more info may help, shaved handles? Unable to open from inside, outside, both? What happens when you try to open them, other then not opening (handle moves freely as if the linkage is not connected)?

Sawzaw? Can't you just take the inner panel off, look inside the door and figure it out?

You did say you were inside,so mostlikely going need to pull the door panle off to "BP Blaster" or WD40 the parts, then try after being sure links are in place from handle ect.

Sawzall!!, I'm glad your'e not my dentist, how about a bit of finesse, it's cheaper, try gently pushing on the door and work the mechanisms, take the little tube and guess where the pin is and give it a few shots of WD or something, see if you can carefully move the door cover open to check the mechanisms and maybe give them a shot of lube. Shoot some lube down the window seal at the mechanisms, be patient. It may be locked, see if you can access the mechanism, look in there with a scope and see if you can trip it.

The latch is out of adjustment. Try the oppiset. push in from the outside and try either inside or outside handle. How does the door lock? Is there a ****on that moves up and down? or does the inside handle move forward to lock the door.
What make of car and what year?

Shes not letting go of the pins, she may be out of alignment or maybe the mechanism is not unlocking the latch pin. Try to very gently lift to door, sometimes they sag and put weight on the mechanism and they will not pop open.

Call a mechanic. Watch and learn. It'll cost less than if you bust it.

Just weld it shut and you can slide over the hood.
