Wanted to breath some life into this old thread. Tony and I have been talking and thought it would be good to try and further the research on his 34 Ford. He took these pics of the gauges and you can tell there were many. We have kept thinking about the history of this car and some sort of race set up is the only thing we end up with. Few of the reasons why.

No provisions for lights, no tail lights, many gauges, and the rear body is not really supported by a frame. There is no sub structure in places and the rear sort of flops around. Attached are pics of the gauges and a few others in photobucket. Thoughts are appreciated (really like the ones about a salt racer)

Can you imagine? 60 years ago if you leaned against that car you likely would've got yer ass kicked. Now look at it.

    Very cool.

Nice looking gauges. Have not done much with the car, we have been busy on the other cars. Thought we should do some talking about this as we are nearing phase 1 of the car project in the next six months. Need to document everything and stablize the body before removing the first bolt.

Do have any more pictures? Possibly of the whole car and the condition it is/was in? Looks like a nice rod.

Yes this is all the same bunch. I will provide updates to the other cars in another thread. I would like to keep this thread for the 34. I have provided the link to the pics of the 34 and will add some more in the morning.

To answer some of the questions, had the red 29 running a few months back, the Savoy is in the process of getting the engine redone and the Wagon is sleeping quietly in storage. Working on one at a time to keep our focus in one place. The 29 has really come a long way and expect to be completely road worthy in the next few months.
