Got the roadster done and now got my eye on a wagon. I really dig the lines on the Chrysler, Dodge and Plymouths (50-53). Whats the scoop on em, is there one better then the other, what should I look for or look out for. I spent the weekend at the GNRS running the NHRA booth and we had the old Safety Safari wagon in the booth, what a cool car. -Don
The bodies are basically the same.... but the plymouth would be the smaller of the three..... Its basically up to whatever grille floats your boat more.
Very cool rides, see so few of these babys. Really dig that mill in the tasty green/white, really uber cool. Have a 56 2-dr Plymouth project on the back burner, got a little Mopar jones for sure. ~Sololobo~
Sorry, I dont have a picture of mine but it's a 53 Plymouth Suburban. I love the body style on the 53-54 more than the others. I'll try to post a couple when I get home from work for ya!
I gave my 52 two hard top away (sold him all the chrome though) and he is doing what I never had time to do. That green one looks like one I put gl*** in a few month ago. the chopped 53 in my earlier post is now bronze, has all the dark gl***. the quarter and tail gate are both tempered gl*** bent to the openings
