Engine tuning parts for Studebaker L6-170cui 85hp straight flathead 6

Might buy me a 53 Studebaker soon and it has a L6-170cui 85hp 6 cylinder engine under the hood and a 3 speed with od.

Is there any speed or tuning parts for it so it might be possible to tune it a bit?

85 hp is not so much of a hot rod so to speak.

 

memory fails me as to the guys name but there is someone who has lotsa stude 6 speed goodies. i think he is in the northeast somewhere. try studebaker drivers club he usta run an ad in their newsletter. sorry i cant be more specific
