Thrill Rides @ Lakeside Pictures!

The first "now annual" Thrill Rides @ Lakeside show was a great turnout. We had close to 100 rides of all different styles show up for the event.

Aussie Steve showed up a little late...he definitely would have had a run at best of show otherwise. Love this car!










It was cool how some of the cars got to line up against the old abandoned Lakeside Speedway...

 

Sweet! Lakeside is such a cool venue. Great looking cars there - I especially like the salmon Chrysler 300!

 

I was there as a spectator and had a great time! Thanks for putting it on guys! Gotta hurry up and finish a car so I can show with the rest.....

 

awesome! kinda bummed i didn't make it. cool to see scott's car get best hot-rod. lots of cool details in that car that you can't see in the pics.


haha those clowns in the first picture of the "cops's choice" car are my two good buddies.

Lotta good photos, thanks for sharing them. Maybe the WTF award got the owner's attention but I doubt it. Guys that spend $100K or so to have a fake car like that built usually don't understand hot rods or car guys of any kind. Personally that purple "Heart Breaker" car (?) would get my WTF vote. At least I know what the Willys is supposed to be. I'm clueless about what the purple car is.

 

My thoughts when I seen it at Goodguys this year.

 

That puple car is badass. That took alot of thinking outside the box.

Great show guys, thanks for putting it on.

Had a good time checking out the cars, catching up with old friends, and walking around the amusement park. Man, the park and speedway sure bring back a lot of memories....

 

what a great time. really excited for us road devils in colorado for this event and the future it may hold!
