    Hey everyone,

I have a ford industrial engine that powers a older style generator. It is a 4cyl and has a great grill shell, it is preserved really well because it was used around a asphalt plant....tar covered it and prevented the rust.

Any one have pictures of rods using industrial grills? I will post a picture of it next time i get up to our shop.

    Thanks
    Leon

Hey Leon....I missed this post when you first posted it.
I'm looking for a steel grille shell if your selling it.
Does it look anything like a Deuce shell or could it be modified to look right?

I'm not into a "tractor shell", but if it could be reworked into something cool I'd be all over it!

The shell that belongs on my Deuce was given away by the PO to be put on that T bucket that Glenn owned!!!

Does it look like this one? I came across this generator last winter in a municipal pump house, it's still used whenever they have a power outage.

It says ONAN on the radiator. They made generators, and eventually Studebaker owned them.

Mine is from a Jaeger industrial engine but I just got a '36 truck grille to match my cab.

That particular generator has a Ford flathead four cylinder engine. I don't recall that Studebaker ever owned Onan, they were an independent company as far as I know until they were bought by ***mins in the mid 1980s.
