I love that truck! Both T's are very cool too! Thanks for sharing!

Heres a small update on the 39. Here is a pic of the frame with the aluminum suspension mounts. try and try as hard as I can, they wont stay on. I have used epoxy and superglue! So I am removing them and I will scratch up something in plastic. At least this way, it will allow me a chance to make mounting plates as well. In the second pic, youi will see what I got yesterday. A can of Lime Ice one coat and some plastic to make the leaf springs from and some cool dry transfers for the graphics. So the color has now been decided! LOL. I just think this green will POP with the white wall tires! Thanks.

Here's an attempt at "realistic" outdoor shots of a '62 I built a few yrs back. I guess they came out OK.

Its been a while since i built anything, maybe 5 years. We were digging through some boxes in the basement yesterday and I found this. Took best in show a couple of times locally, but is in dire need of restoration now.

Chopped, channeled, sectioned, frenched, you name it. The body was cut into about 30 pieces when I started putting it all back together. I tried to do it the way you would do a real car, layed the back window down instead of cutting it etc, took forever to make that look right. About 12 coats of hand rubbed black lacquer and clear. Can't even guess the total hours in the body. I tried to wax it up a bit for these pics, but it needs buffed in a bad way

Thought I'd jump in and post photos of the builds that won last Sunday at the Good Guys Rod and Custom show in Puyallup.

I was surprised to win any awards at all considering the other entries, but that makes them all that more special.

I wish I had a quarter of the talent & patience you guys have. I hope this doesnt sound like spam, that is definitely not what I intended.........I have a few models for sale in the classified section, can any of you let me know if the prices seem fair or not? I havent gotten any interest on either lot so I suspect they may be overpriced.

The Shell still exists in Winston Salem North Carolina . Built in 1930 tis was #6 of eight built and the only one standing today.
The Amoco is sort of still standing at the corner of Preston Avenue and 3rd Avenue in Richmond Virginia . Built in 1937 , this rare 1 bay station remained in operation until 1960as an Amoco. It became a convience store and general garage until 1978 or so. scrubba

Boy Lyle, you kicked off this Sunday with The Good Stuff. I've never seen the Gold Standard T before. Very nice indeed. The rest were known to me and are among my faves (gotta love that tasty cream '36 Tudor ;)).

Fletch, I finally saw your F-100 and weathered SD this Spring "in the plastic" as opposed to here on the web. Great to see these excellent builds get some recognition. Congrats!:)

Scrubba, never saw the Shell station before, Ultra-cool!:cool:

Here are the two I completed in the last month.
