    Hey guys,
Im looking to get some chrome work done.
I know about sherms, but they are soooo expensive for just my daily driver.
    Any remomendations?

I need my bumpers, bumper guards, headlight rims, valve covers, and grill all to be chromed.

    Thanks
    ~Luke

My friend keeps telling me to try A1 plating in North Sac, but I haven't looked into it and don't have their contact info.
If anyone does have feedback about them or another place nearby, I'd be interested to hear it, since just like Luke here, I can't choke up enough cash for Sherms.

A1 did my olds bumpers back in the days. They straightened it out and rechromed them. Turned out pretty good.

I had em do some small stuff turned out good looks fine! I did tell em do a "good job I'll pay for it". I also took em some bumpers to strip and straighten they did a good job on that I still need to weld em up and take em back.

Sherms is spendy but what you get back is like jewelry! I had them do a few things for my galaxie and a body shop used another chrome shop on my rear bumper> needless to say my rear bumper is already needing a redo but all my sherms stuff is beutifull!

Keystone in Stockton did an awesome job for me on mine. Straightened em and chromed them and we cheaper than everyone else I checked out. They even did some pot metal for me too.

Sherms is the highest quality, but pricey.

Sacramento Bumper does a very good job and isnt quite as spendy as Sherms.
