Pics? Towaholic and I along with our wives had an absolute blast . . . even considering I blew the motor in my roadster and had to have the roadster and teardrop towed home 180+ miles. ! guess 13 hard p***es is all the junkyard 350 had in her!
I saw your roadster make some p***es but must have left before the engine gave it up....sorry to hear that......some pics here.
It got hot and developed a rod knock on my 13th p*** . . . It actually gave up the ghost on 94 heading east . . . made it to Downer . . . Oh well, 180+ miles in an air-conditioned tow truck wasn't so bad. And now she'll be stronger and faster!
I heard about that Bull- just an excuse to make it better for next year! It was cool meeting Deisel627 at the drags- I was fortunate enough to hop into his *****in' nailhead-powered A coupe for a p***. Lots of fun!
http://s201.photobucket.com/albums/aa2/buflochp/Hot Rod Drags/ Many Thanks for all the fun, you guys proved that bigger isn't always better. I had a blast. Buflochp "When he flew by us I look the other way, and the guy in the Mercury had nuttin to say, for it was a Kid, in a hopped up Model A. Just a hopped up Model A."
Lance (towaholic) and I already have the new bullet waiting to go in. Should be pulling the wounded motor from the roadster tonight.
Some pics my wife took on the drive up. The best drive I have ever had in a hot rod. Perfect top-down, cruising weather, a sunset view through the windshield of an 80 year old car that just could not be beat, the teardrop in-tow and my sweetie at my side. All was right with the world!
Great pictures bull! I didn't get to meet you in person, but maybe next time! Also sorry to hear about your motor takin a **** on ya. Pinstriper40 it was cool as hell to meet you as well, and pretty damn cool that they were letting people run with p***engers! I had a blast!! And it was great meeting all of you I got to meet! Buffalochip, your coupe and your sons 54 are some amazing cars and very well done! I will be looking over the pictures I took of them for hours!! I can't wait till next year, and maybe I will see some of you at the symco shake down!!
I kept hoping we'd line up against each other. I think our cars we're fairly evenly matched . . . and it would have made for some great pics! Oh well . . . next year! BTW . . . blown motor is out. New motor is ready to go in. Should be running early next week.
This is a very creative piece of work, I found on YouTube, Take a look. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXYObGqWDOI Buflochp
