newbie here looking for some feedback

    Bringing a 31 tudor back to life.First time doing a old skool/traditional rod .Brought the car out from South Dakota,two months into the build.6 inch chop,set up for 5 inch channel with 4 linked bagged rear.All work has been done by myself.Any feebback?Remember first time doing this style, so dont be to harsh.

    Welcome from so cal... Im having the same thing with my 30 coupe . All i do is think about it do it if i miss up redo it... Its my 1st build so im only going to get better with the next one right.....

    Welcome from South Australia. Wow, thats so low even I'd bang my head on the roof! I'm not sure if I like the "hammered" look, but that don't matter. If you like it, it's cool. Good luck with the build.

    You definatly have the style down. If it were me I think I add some gussets at the right angle where the rear part of the frame goes up, then back. In plan view you did that with the rear box at the back which looks good and and strong.

    Gussets are to come ,i have a lot to fit on the rear end. air bag brackets, four link brackets,shock brackets,panhard bar.just want to get everything laid out ,then will gusset.thanks for feedback. GOTTA DRIVE THEM

    Plus I overlapped all seams with 3/16 plates.Maybe overkill ,but I am having fun. Not paying someone else to do the work makes it that much better. GOOTTA DRIVE THEM
     
  14. Cruznr31.....This is really the introduction forum page where you tell us a little about Yourself...Read the "sticky" at the top of this page.... If you want to do a build thread,place it over on the main board...
     
  15. Wow, that's not old school or traditional. Paint it flat black with red steelies and OSR will put you on the cover.

    Post it on the main board where you can get a proper flaming.
