It isnt very clean, the pics on the net show the place looking fresh and recently painted, which wasnt the case when we got there. The furniture is original to the strutures but not very well kept.

If traveling with a family it's not a good place to stay, the wigwams are tiny.

I mean real tiny. I'm 5'11" and I barely fit in the shower.

I dont have pics on a digital camera but in Troy Alabama there is giant catfish made from s**** metal and a chicken from car bumpers, the bumpers were cut to resemble feathers.

The one in Holbrook AZ is awesome, and I highly recommend it. Its a good place to stay close to the grand canyon also.

  9. Here is a couple more from the 2010 leg of our Rt. 66 excursion - this is Illinois... The Coffee is real good at the Java Stop and this Shell Station is one of hundreds along the route that are being restored or are restored or need restoration. COOL STUFF!!:D

Reminds me of hats they for sale at the Rust Revival this year. They said-"Alchohol, Tobbaco and Firearms should be a convenience store, not a government agency."

The Corn Palace in Mitchell, South Dakota

The Corn Palace is a multi-purpose arena/facility located in Mitchell, South Dakota. It is a popular tourist destination, visited by more than 500,000 people each year. The Moorish Revival building is decorated with Crop art; the murals and designs covering the building are made from corn and other grains. It also hosts the home basketball games of Dakota Wesleyan University and the Mitchell High School Kernels.
