So, do you or someone you know run Hurst Cheater slicks on your/their Rod? I had them make me a pair, and my car is not completed yet. The quality is very good, and the look is awesome. Glenn
That looks great!......is that the same basic slick speedway sells? A pair of slicks is in my future......just gathering as much info as possible on whats available out there. Steve
I need to get some new ones here pretty quick... I haven't started looking for Hurst's contact information yet as it is burried in a pile of research for an article I did a LONG time ago. Anyone have it handy?
Glen the ride is looking great!!!!!!! we gotta get together soon.......Turkey rod run and then you can get directions to the fuel and fire camp out!!
Mecutem, The Speedway / Hurst tires are the same tires...I bought mine direct from Ron @ Hurst, and had him groove them so I could drive in the rain!!!
Hey Mike! Jennifer and I are working on plans to get to the "Turkey Run" for Friday and Saturday........I'll email U.
Harrell.......Your A C-dan is so rightous man, my wife has been on my *** since we visited with you in B-field to find a body and get busy. So I guess once this Willy's is on the road, I'll be back in the shop once I find a C-dan body.
I'm running white wall cheaterslicks on my plymouth 58, i drove that tires for 10 000 miles now with no problem, they come from stockton wheels! Sorry no good pics www.thecheatersgang.com
Glenn the Willys is looking great. Didja sell the A? Now let's get this straight, the Hurst recaps are built on radial carc***es right? Wouldn't it be dangerous to run them with bias plys up front. I really dig the way they look though. Also aren't you asking for trouble running cheaters in wet climates like Florida's?
