I need suggestions to repair my brake/clutch pedal assembly. I was hoping I could put in new bushings but have more problems. The post that the pedals go onto are worn pretty bad one one side (egg shaped). The pedal holes are worn to the point that standard bushings don't fit tight on the outside edge. Any ideas would be much appeciated. Thanks Don

    Don,
Looks like you might have to find a replacement for the worn part. You could try repairing the part but it could prove difficult/ expensive to restore proper fit of the bushing without machine work.

Thanks, I was thinking either $$$ getting machine shop stuff done or finding another set. Now the fun part, finding a set

  5. You might try looking on Bob Drake Reproduction site. I bought a new shaft for my '40 Ford pedal assembly from him. Had to have it pressed on the bracket but was not expensive. He has a pretty extensive line of parts and they are pretty reasonsbly priced.
