No kiddin'- he called me while arriving at the hospital in Sacramento: twin sons born more than 2 months early, but it sounds like everyone's healthy and happy! Am just so excited for this first-time dad (and for the Mrs., who's a first-time mom), had to share it with you all. Congratulations, Eric!! -- Unkie Humboldt Cat
WOW! Premie twin boys! (I can't even imagine!) Wish them the best of luck from us, and CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Twins!! man talk about out of the pan and into the fire! Hope his Datsun is big enough, he may have to get an American car yet. Congrats to Purple! Tell him we're missing him on the Hamb.
Just talked to Purple- he's at UC Davis hospital in Sacramento, both premies and Mom are doing fine; hospital staff told him they're in better shape than most premies (he noted the boys have a really strong grip). Born were Robert Arundel Hall and Michael Christian Hall, both weighing in at 3 1bs & 11 oz. @ 16" long. Read him yer replies, he says thanks and will be back on the board soon with pics. There's a Tudor in the rough I'd found awhile back and have been trying to help him secure it, and ever since he found out they'd be a family of four we agreed he'd need the extra seats even more! Anyway, just p***in' along more good news!
Congratulations, double the fun. Can you imagine how hard it would be to breast feed two little ones? Jeez I feel sorry for mom. Both of my children were born premies, it was kinda tough at first, but there were no long term ill effects. All the best to you.
Congratulations! Baby's are fun. The poop ****s. It also ****s when junior chews and drools on your rodders journal. Just a tid bit of what you have to look forward too. Wanna know what my sons favorite word is? Wee-yos. As in HOT Wee-YOS! Everything the kids sees with wheels he point it out... wee-yos! Funny as hell. I picked up an issue of old school rodz the other day to see what the fuss has all been about... and I couldn't read the thing cuz junior kept flipping the pages going wee-yos! and pointing at everything in the book! Funny as hell. So yep.. kids are fun. My boy is 14 months now. enjoyed every minute of it so far and wouldn't trade it for anything.
Congrats purple. My twin nieces were born premature and they are fine now. Enjoy them while they are small 'cause next thing you know they are all grown up. later shawn
A Double congradulations are in order for you and the Mrs. I was born at Sutter Hospital in 1957,and I turned out OK!
