I'm trying to locate the remains of the Hundley & Boggs front engine Top Fuel dragster. The car was a 1967 188-inch W.B. Kellison chassis with a fiberglass chute pack body. The car was based in Charleston, WV. The car was sold in 1970-71. Joe Boggs has no records that document "who, what, when or where" regarding the sell of the car. If you have any knowledge of the whereabouts or fate of this car, please drop me a line. Thanks for your help. Marty Harrison martyharrison@charter.net
Bought a FED some years ago, was shipet from Florida, but put together in Minnesota in the late 80`s. It has a kellison chutepack body. The chassis has been changed several times, so it`s hard to tell. Have tried to find a history on it, but not much luck. The Kellison kit was some what common back then?!? .......................................... Taildragger&fenderless
I don't have any Kellison dragster info like sales stats. There were two Top Fuel teams in my hometown of Charleston, WV in the mid-60s and both campaigned Kellison cars. The Kellison blueprints I've seen on this forum are for 150-in. W.B. frames. Both of these cars were 180-in. +. I'd like to know more, too.
one of those TF guys (mr Simpson) was supposed to send me some photos of his old car for our reunion. Never got them.
I spent some time with Lowry two weeks ago at the Chargers Car Club reunion in St. Albans, WV and I saw the pictures in question. Do you have his current contact info? I might be able to help you. Please send me a PM.
