Finned Cover Question

Who makes the best finned valve covers and DUAL finned air cleaners for an sbc? Seen some out there, just dont know which are the best in terms of quality. I am a new to the game, still learning.

I bought cheap knock-offs on Evil bay for ****s and giggles. So far, they haven't leaked. And they look good too. Don't hate.

 

if ya got deep pockets the moon tall finned will fit roller rockers and look great. you can get them with the tall breathers. I ran those and the matching air cleaner on my 2 x 4's setup. it looked great (sixties style)

 

Not exactly the same setup as yours, but Moon covers are nice.

Valve covers? what are valve covers???????????

 

at the last mooneyes party i was talking to a fella about their "tall" finned and he said they actually won't clear roller rockers without using the spacer they make. they do look a bit shorter than a standard tall valve cover but i didn't have a tape measure handy to check, perhaps someone can confirm or deny this

Good to know. The motor does have roller rockers. I have some tall edelbrock covers now. Not crazy about them. They are about 4" tall and clear fine. I will look at moon eyes and vintage. Thanks!
