Help deciphering markings on my old truck.

  1. My 39 Plymouth pick up was pretty beaten up when I got it with dirty great scaffold bars welded into the front bumper and a shed load of dents! Paint was a mixture of black and green but on the drivers side fender DF/MF had been painted on as shown in pic below.

    Anybody able to tell what this could have meant? Assuming it meant anything at all that is......

    looks like salvage yard or auction markings ? i dont know what they mean though ?

  8. Cheers people, I can clearly state that as much as I like the idea of the "dent free mopar fender" this was not the case!

    Painted over it shall be!
