procomp ignition

    need advice, thinking of giving a procomp hei distributor a go ( i think there chinese) in my 348 w motor,anyone had a good or bad experience.

  3. i put one into a 302 windsor that i built, it would play up at idle, then clear out higher in the rev range, or you could tune it to do the opposite. after tearing my hair out for ages , i finally s****ped the procomp ignition and ..tada, problem solved.
    i would not recommend the stuff.

    Buy a MSD and that will end your problems ! Good distributor !

    I have one, but I put in a remote coil adaptor, pulled out the module and hooked the pickup straight to the spark box, and I put an advance kit it in, so there wasn't much of the chinese stuff left to screw up.
