James didn't want to go with skirts. We were trying to go a little more hot rod and a little less tail dragger.

  2. 36 Fords look killer no matter what. Sweet metal work, congrats
Hope to see it in person when it's painted

First I've seen E&J's used on that body style. To say they work is an understatement.

Are you going to let James drive it, or you going to be like Cole and just keep it?

It's his car I'm sure he will drive it. I wish I was so lucky to get to keep it.

Vey Nice metal work, or should I say "Heavy Metal" work, I saw the car in Santa Maria and happened to catch you showing the engine compartment to someone. You should post some pic of the Firewall, I liked the way you put the ribs in it!

WOW! Great metal work, thanks for posting the photos. The deck lid and hood are my favorite pieces. Bare metal is so nice to see, so are the "before" photos. Nice job!

Not to many shops putting out this kind of quality. That car is ready to go another 74 years thanks to Blue Collar Custom. Most shops fill it full of mud and hide all of the flaws, those cars be lucky to make it another ten years.

Thanks for keeping this life style alive, not only for us but or kids and our kids grand kids.

  26. That looks great. The new trunk lid sure changes the look. Tail lights are cool too.

Wow! that is all kinds of sweet

Like a few have said, Im not a fan of E&J's but they look right at home on this. A set of skirts would set this off even if James doesn't want them. Its simply stunning.

I know its a couple years late, but just got to see this car at the shop a couple months ago, and it has to be the best hot rod I have ever seen, simply amazing, along with everything else at the shop!
