What will they think of next? How about landspeed racing on a frozen lake in Wisconsin! http://www.texasmile.com/
Side Valve are you thinking of Texas instead of the Salt Flats ...? Or Are you thinking a bunch of HAMB'rs should take a stab at this runway in our traditional cars...? That would be fun! Just a note..., When Corvette set the endurance record in the early 90's..., it was on a 12 mile oval track in Texas! (Where...?, I don't know) But can you imagine an "Unlimited Circle Track Race" on that thing??? I don't know how long the straights are but on twelve miles they should be pretty long! Mark
Hey, i already had the idea of LSR racing on frozen Wisconsin lakes! Of caourse it would be for lakes modifieds. Folks shake thier heads when I mention it.
You should see the looks on their faces in Madison when the Murdercycles hit the lakes all "SPIKED" out for the oval's...! I'd pay to see Lakes Modifieds out there...! Mark
wingnutz, goodyear owns a huge test track down south of san angelo thats the biggest i've seen in tejas. probably the same track. its probably one of the only of that size in the country.
nailheadmerc That's the one...! The track is so big the weather has a different forecast on each end of the track! They have Dust Devils on one side of the track and a thunderstorm on the other side! Wild Stuff!
