Stainless Woven wire

    Anyone know where I could buy some Stainless mesh like the grille material on the Kookie Kar? It looks thicker and stronger than what McMaster-Carr sells.?
     
  2. Outwater Plastics is one supplier. Have you searched "mesh"? I found several other suppliers from other posts on here just dont have them at hand right now.

    Thanks guys: But .047 wire seems really thin. It looks like the Kookie stuff might be heavier gauge.

    check with McMaster Carr. I think I bought some real similar stuff from then in stainles in the last year

    some time ago, there was a thread regarding specialty restoration parts (hood belt springs, etc). I thought I saved that particular site, but apparently not. I think the thread actually had a comment regarding hood belt springs/hold-downs), so perhaps a search in the archives will provide a link to that site. They had TONS of hard parts, many of which would be HAMB-appropriate.

    A while back, I bought some of this material from Belleville Wire Cloth across the river in Jersey. I shopped around and they had the best price for the piece that I was looking for.
