Here's an update on the cowl Lil' Dave has been working on...

 

we had some tecnecal difaculties last night ALL the pictures will be back up

I'll be watching this one closely, me and my buddy are working on his newly aquired 62. Here is a pic with a quick photoshop of the plan. Do me a huge favour take some shots when you guys lower yours as I would like to see how you do it (blocks) and how many coils you take out. I cant wait to see your done, keep up the top notch work!

Thats right we don't "f" around here at Gambino Kustoms, we got vids now...

I cut 1 1/4 coils(New Coils) off the front of mine.
Any more than that and you're going to have problems.
The Rear has new Leaf Springs and plans are to use 2" lowering blocks.

If it was mine, I'd do the more common approach with the antennas. Mount one on either side of the trunk lid (not one the trunk lid), between it and the fins, pointed at a 45 degree angle back. But hey, if they like that, then do it that way. Still a cool project. Makes me want to go out and work on my 61.

Looks like a great ride is coming along. I love these tbirds as well. I tried to get my uncles 63' from him but he wont give it up. Oh well, I cant wait to see paint on this one!! Keep up the great work Gambino.
