I can't help just yet as I am having email server issues and can't send email at the moment. So, the first thing you should try is to clear your temporary internet files and your cookies. Afterwards, click on "lost your p***word" link and follow the process... You login name on this board is the display name from the old board. IF your name is two words like "damn_you", then don't use the under score... do it like this: "damn you". If none of that works, I'll help you when I get my email back. Be patient.
I did the "forgot your p***word" thing, and got back on... Then I changed it back to the old one and it works fine. Beats me... JOE
On the old board I had a different display name from my login name. Yesterday when i tried to log in it would not let me- I then tried my display name with my old p***word and I got in. I hope this helps a few people out. Reece
Yeah, my old user name was what I had to use to log on with on the old board, had to use the one I had changed to on the old board to log in to the new board.......see I confused myself! Thanks for the help guys,board looks great!
My problem is that I cant see any attachments , every once in a while i can see a pic but most times not, any ideas?
Ryan, I just got in. Please ignore my email when you get it its about login. I had to use my old email address from the same company they reworded our addresses a year ago. I forgot about that. H.A.M.B members, So, if your having trouble with login then try your email also. It might be different now from when you first signed in on the board. WOW, This is sharp! WOW. I finally got logged in. I was really bummed out not being able to get on last night but everything worked this afternoon. I really like the new layout. Great job Ryan. Thanks! Billy
Another thing I noticed is that if you log out it does not save log in info even if you have it checked to remember me. I just close my browser with out logging off and it saves the cookies and remembers me.
By chance I tried logging-on with my screen name and the old p***word. How was I to know that was the new procedure? I don't think it was case sensitive.. How did some members change their names?
Also.. if you haven't been receiving emails and you use hotmail or any other webmail service with spam filtering, check your spam folder, because a lot of automated emails from forums end up there. Hope that helps, -Richard
