Hey guys just want to let you all know about a new coupe that is about to hit the streets this weekend. Some very good friends of mine a set of brothers have been working really hard and long hours on this car and its ready to hit the streets. See the flyer below for all the info and come by and check it out. These brothers did all the work themselves from paint to body to interior to ch***is work. Here is the flyer for it and also check out the blog that they do as well. http://haifleybros.blogspot.com/
Dude, can't wait to see it! Sounds like one show only for this beast before it gets loaded up and sent back to it's new home. Congrats Kelly and Doug!
Haifleys? Those guys are ***s! Doug and Kelly (the Haifley bros.) are good freinds and a couple of talented and motivated *******s. The machine they built is a bad ***, proper hot rod. I haven't seen it all finished in paint yet, I can't wait. See ya'll there.
Serious, If your in the Phoenix area, it's worth your time on Friday to come take a look! First Fridays is pretty fun too, Your female will dig it as well!
BTTT This should be a hoot. I reckon there will be plenty of other old heaps there worth eyeballin' too.
Back to the top! I'm seriously thinking of riding my mini bike the mile and three quarters up there tonight... anybody else dumb enough to join me!!!
GO-KAT-GO crew is cool. If I can't make it up from Tucson, I'll be tipping a brewski in your direction. Make sure the photos get on the HAMB. Ernest
Hey gang! The Haifley bros. "coming out" party went great! The car is beautiful, Just a shame it goes away to it's new home tomorrow and we'll never see it again. It's a '29 on '32 rails done in an amazing dark eggplant color, and Pontiac powered. Sorry my pictures are dark, if you saw my last post, I forgot my camera and had to run back. By the time I got back, the light was done, so you might have to squint a bit - sorry. Elpolacko was out with his mind bending truck, stopped and talked to Jerry a bit, Desert droog, was out and about, Hot rod Ron, Me and a cast of thousands....Oh, good friends on bikes too! Wounded the Plymouth on the way home being stupid, so there is always that tomorrow.
A great time was had by all and if you missed it that's ashame since there was some cool stuff there as well. Another good traditional event in Phoenix.
Whoa Nelly! What a beautiful machine. The overall look and feel of the car is spot on, craftsmanship is top notch and there are all kinds of *****in' and unique details every where ever you look. The car is amazing, definately on par with the products any of the well known, quality shops building proper hot rods (Circle City, Kennedy Brothers, Hollywood, etc.). I hope someone can post some better pictures (no offense, Chip), because the details of this car would certainly be appreciated here. My hat is off to Doug an Kelly Haifley, what a *****in' machine.
No offense taken! Actually, I believe a monkey could do a better job with a camera! I too second the thought, I hope to see some sort of print on this car... It is deserved!
Reason #9876782-A, to hate living out here in the 'burbs... Can't ride the mini-bike to Go-Kat-Go from here... I gotta move my *** back downtown and help Chip with his photography!!!
Didn't end up riding the mini over to Go Kat. Hot Rod Ron talked me out of it! Kinda rainy and windy when I left anyway.... Did however figure out a route to both Go Kat and George and Dragon for the great mini bike enduro on Saturday night... Now just gotta round up a bunch of idiots to play! Unfortunately, I also saw my reflection in several mirrored buildings on Central riding the other night; A Six foot tall 190lbs 45 year old man is not a pretty picture on a child's toy! Oh and all photography help would be welcomed!
Hey Ron, Was that the same coupe that was at Good-Guys a year or so ago in over at the misfits corner, unpainted? Very Nice Ride
