Not without LOTS of fabrication. Grab a S10 for the subframe
    S10 near you

Way too wide! S10, the steering box is where the grille goes. How about making your life easy and doing a MustangII? That's about the simplest car on the planet to put one in.

I second the mustang ii. We put one in my friends 48 fleetline in a weekend. Couldn't have been easier.

Go with the MII. I installed one in my car. Easy to install, if you shop around you can do it at a reasonable cost.

What everyone else says. Go MII. Check out the http://ch***isengineeringinc.com kits or any of the standard MII kit providers.

I have a 47 Chevy Sedan Delivery with a 79 Camaro Front Steer clip in it. It was already installed when I bought it, but given a choice I would have gone with the MII. The clips are just to wide. I had my front wheels custom made with the max offsets and everything is good at current height. But I cannot lower my car as much as I want as the tires will rub. Then if you want to get your car in the weeds the only(?) narrowed arms for the GM clips are the fatman ones that are around $800! Yes, you can narrow a clip, but that brings up other clearance issues (headers, steering etc.).

    cheers
