My 50 Ford is leaking a lot of fluid from the speedo cable after sitting. I'm ***uming the seals in the speedo housing are bad, however, I have never replaced this type of seal. Is there anything unsual about this procedure that I should be aware of? Thanks

easy fix. pull the housing out of the ****** and remove the speedo gear. Old seal comes out easily with a seal pic. New one goes in just as easy.

I have removed the only bolt holding the housing in, but I can't get the housing out. I've tried spinning it left and right, but its not coming out. Any suggestions???

Pry it straight out gently a little on each side. Held back by an O ring..
