32 bones..perch pin fit..??????

  1. Was mocking up my front end today and noticed that the bottom of my 32 bone have the tapered hole...wondering if I can buy the tapered washers or should I make my own...it's a pain because I'm lacking the equiptment to make any..ideas...my buddy tells me to go ahead and tighten it as is..

    What sort of shocks are you running? The mounts for tube shocks are tapered to fit into the bottom of the wish bones.

    If you're funning lever shocks you'll need a spacer, or an original style perch nut that has a taper on the backside of the nut.

    I drilled out regular wheel nuts Dont remember how I found the right size
     
  9. Zombie..just bought the cotter type nuts..thanks..nice stuff at the Hot Rod Shop!!..I'll be checking it out as my build develops..
