After a bunch of heart tests didn't turn up anything more than a minor blood pressure problem the doctor wanted to RE-RUN one of the test. I told him if I really did have an issue, the stress of owing him MORE money would not help it. I would let him know if I had any other problems. that's been over twenty years ago.

Glad youre gonna be around awhile Larry. Not knowing sucks, bet your feeling better just knowing what the issue is.

Same thing happened to me,passed out, thought it was a stroke, lotsa tests and $$$$ and finally after a 2 month of being real sick, they found i had Hypoglycemia{ opposite of diabetes} Now on strict diet, no sugar at all, saw a dietician and following the "plan" eating right. Now i have a minimum of problems......

    Holy Cow man didnt know....
Take care of yourself make sure you stay with the diet+ you will loose a bunch of weight...;-)
Glad your still around to keep me on the straight with my cars..

  14. Notice all TYPED IN ALL caps :)

more small meals .. Not so much what you eat as amounts of what you do and when...
    Moderation and balanced

checking b/s levels will mean something else now..

We won't call you sweetie or sugar lump any more...

Very rapid weight loss is not needed as much as monitering your self..

Find a balance number watch out that low b/s is as bad or worse than high numbers it ain't a test to see how low you can get it!

Hopefully a diet plan will be better than any medicine

    good luck

  15. Glad to hear you are OK. I didn't get to the point of passing out, but I now have to take meds and watch what I eat and I should get more exercise, but that ain't happened yet. LOL. Guess we should run around the projects once in a while LOL

    Good luck to you

Good to hear you are ok. Diabetes is very easily controlled. A little exercise and a diet change helped a friend of mine alot.

Great to hear it was not more serious. A little diet and exercise won't hurt you:rolleyes: I think the Beer and candy companies will be fine without your business. Just think of all the extra car money you will have.:)

Glad you are OK but, it is a shame that those Doctors are idiots, now=a-days almost everything can be checked with one simple blood test. Sometimes I think they are dumb purposely so they can test the hell out of you & make more money.
