Customs info on 1949 lincoln custom

hello does anyone knows any info on this 49 50 lincoln custom? is a 4 door chopped convertible I think it has a 318 or 360 dodge engine. there is no dash on it I'll see if I can drag it out for better pictures Thanks

 

Definitely not a '49 Lincoln.
Either '50 0r '51

Almost has to be a '51, check out the extended quarters.

I've got a dashboard for the car if you need it, no cluster but the steel part I have, it's a bolt in part, $50 plus shipping.

 

The grille is definitely a '51

 

The '51 Lincolns never got their due recognition. They were truly the "Super Mercs", anybody that's ever driven one will tell you.
This chopped ragtop has the look, and it has it in spades!
With the smoothness of that 318 (or 360) this has to be a dream ride...with epic dependability! (mileage might be fair...but these Links were heavy...)

 

Obviously it started out as a '51 4 door baby Lincoln.
The only convert they made in these years ('49 to '51)
was a '49 baby Lincoln 2 door.
Really well done though...
