  8. Not exactly H.A.M.B friendly but it was a quick sedan in the rest of world (which says alot about how slow everything else was :D), it's got a 62hp engine, not bad for a 1.5 litre engine designed in the 1940s...

    She's a 1957 Peugeot 403 :)

I'm getting some high compression pistons for it, got a twin carb manifold, just got to rebuild the other carb, I'l fab up some extractors too.

I'm going to buy another one and rod it, my plans are a 2.5l Daimler V8, among other things :D.

    Thanks

    Hayden

Which one... Too many Irons in the Damn fire!

The '33 is one that I built for a close pal of ours. It was her Dad's truck....

Not shown is a '40 Ford pickup for my cousin and a '34 Chevy standard 2 door....

The wheels, I just likes em..........not as bulky looking as the originals, but I may yet swap them out for a set of Steelies and Spiders.

The fender profile is unique to the Canadian Ponchos, it is identical to the 55 Chevy's. They were built on the Chevy frames and running gear as well and are therefore a few inches shorter overall than the American models. You can see the shorter front end better in this pic.......

couldn't PAY me to drive a glass car! that being said, i got no problem with people buildin em. mine started as an abandoned glass body/roller combo. i managed to sell the glass tub for $100 more than i paid for my steel body plus 7! doors plus 2 extra dashes plus 2 extra cowls plus 2 extra windshield frames plus 2 extra sets of windshield stanchions plus an original E brake setup... (nearly all of which were sold on here on the cheap to finance other pieces parts) heres what i started with and where i managed to get to thus far. finally drove it last week for the 1st time too!
i am simply amazed at some of the KILLER cars you kids are puttin together out there. congrats to all of ya that ain't buildin fart piped giant winged hondas.. ya'll got my respect whether it be glass or steel. keep on scarin the neighbors!
