Does any body Know what 52'or 53' Desoto grill teeth are worth in fair condition ? I have came across a set of five.
Got mine, 11 tooth without the pan and pitted, a little over 3 years ago for close to a grand. I figure nowadays about close to a hundred a piece in fairly good condition?
No i dont sorry ,and man this is an old thread you found .I had to look twice to remember it .If i remember correctly they turned out to be Chevy grill teeth that they guy tried to tell me were Desoto Chompers so i never bought them.I wish i could help you out but if i come across any i will pm you if you want...
Call jimmy at Sledsville in CA.....he does repro grille teeth( not chromed) and can even supply a gl*** pan ready to bolt into your Merc
There are "teeth" available on Ebay right now for under a grand. Do a search with the key word Desoto or Rat Rod. Teeth in good shape have gone for over a grand. I donated a 1952 set to the "Scarlet Fever" fund raiser. You might contact A32Flathead here on the HAMB and see if they are available. All my Desotos still have their original teeth.
