i recently had a power wire on my 1960 ford f100 fry and it kiled everything on it. i got the starter and the headlights working, but i dont have any brake lights. my brake and tail lights are on the same circut and i dont have a wiring diagram to fix it. I was wondering if some one out there had one so i can see what i need to do to fix it. The truck does have a chevy motor in it and is not stock but most of the wiring is still original. If someone could help that would be great.

This wiring is the same as '57-60 Ford F100. The light switch is probably your problem since your tail lights and stop circuit and headlights go through this switch. I had a similar problem with my '57. Check continuity for each position of your switch...

Damn, I haven't seen that schematic in over 20 years. Kinda like an old friend. Got rather familiar with it after my ammeter wire shorted to ground and let all the smoke out of the wires. Never did get it back in. :D
The best part is the schematic is easy to read. Print several copies and highlight each circuit a different color. Do you have a voltmeter? If so, after you do the continuity check like YBlockCruizer said, you can power up and trace each circuit "point to point". If the voltage "disappears" you can trace it to that last section you checked. You'll get it solved. As long as you are using a conventional points type ignition the diagram should work.

Check to make sure the flasher is hooked up. It took me a while to realize that was the only piece missing to my brake lights and turn signals.
