ANYONE GOING THIS YEAR??? THIS IS ALL I COULD FIND ON THE SHOW? http://www.bigbear.us/antiquecarshow.html
It's a good show, although more "Street Rod" than traditional. Lot's of "Stock" antiques iin the past as well. And of course being in Big Bear it makes for a great weekend. Pretty sure it's this Saturday, there's a number on the flyer to confirm.
i will be there, first time for me. 12 cars from a shop i hang out at are leaving from anaheim at 1pm friday. are you going to be there?
YES, The only camping my kids get is when I run at El Mirage, so I promised them a real camping trip up at Big Bear. We had planned on doing some boating and 4 wheeling. Had a problem getting a campspot so we rented a ****hole cabin for 55 per night. (I'm a high roller). Last week I was talking to a friend o mine who goes to the show every year and coinsidentally it was the same weekend as our trip. So now we will be hangin at the show, I hear they have a cruise around the lake one night and lots of entertainment, (Im so exited) We'll see you there!
This show usually sells out well in advance of the show. So do places to stay. Haven't been in years- we are going to the one in Wrightwood next Saturday instead.
It is a great show I attended the last two years but will be working this year. I stay with family 5 blocks from the show so I don't know about lodging.
first year for me, but i know the cruise around the lake is sat right after the show ends, it helps clear out the town for the evening. trophy pres is sunday( i won't have to worry about that ha ha)
How long have they been doing this? I lived in Big Bear for a while I don't recall any car shows...er no wait.. I do remember an event at the air port years ago, but I thought it was a vette thing.
lance speed, yes, its the only one i have. it has highway 99 and hamb decals in the rear quarter windows.
