What is the difference between the differentials in a Model A banjo as compared to the later 37-40 style rear? I'm looking to build a Winter's V8 QC and have a couple of A rearends and would like to get by as cheaply as possible without compromising strength. I read several of the other threads on beefing up the gears for a QC, but wasn't sure if it was possible to use the A model differential carrier. Thanks, Flattop
Does this affect the carrier for the spider gears and axle side gears? This is the part that gets used in the QC. Are there any sites that show a break-down of the various styles of banjos produced by Ford?
