    Hello everybody
I am slowly putting together a 32 roadster from Brookville on a ASC rail set. I am now in the process of mounting the body to the frame and boxing it. I would like to install the cage nuts used to mount the body on the frame, but don't have any measure or idea where to purchase them. The various supply companies have many sizes in stock, but don't know what to purchase. I live in Italy, where we use a different system, so everythinmg is rather complicated. WOuld also need the correct bolts. Anyone supplying the correct stuff?
    Thank you Antonello

Over here in the states ...

My original set of 32 Ford rails for my 3W ch***is ... I just bolted a nut to the frame and then they were welded up. Boxed the rails and then removed the bolt.

I used 5/16ths NC except where the firewall ban bolt goes. There I used a 3/8 NC. Back where the fuel tank bolts I used 1/4 NC But metric would work as well ... ... I see you are where metric is more available. :)

A trick I use is weld the nut to the back of a flat washer then open a hole up in the frame so the nut and washer will fit into the frame. Then I put the bolt through the body mounting hole and run the special nut you've made on to the bolt. Then drop the body on the frame and square the body on to the frame. The special nut should fit into the holes you opened up. Once everything is lined up then you can tack weld the special nuts into place. This allows for the measurements that are out on the body or the frame. Remember in the 30's anything with-in 1/4" or 6mm was factory Spec.!!!!

P.S. In the picture you can see the special nut in the frame rail besdie the tubular crossmember. JP

Thank you for the help. Any other suggestion? What is the correct size for body bolts?
