Anybody know anything about them. Haven't seen many of them around. I have an old one I got from a guy in Hawaii. I know that the guy that came up with it was in the Navy at one point but thats about it.

Like what? You didn't even say what your intake was for.

Sorry about that attempting to be everywhere at once. Its for a 235 inline 6. I googled Sharp for hour came up with some decent electronics and then some small site with a little history of Al Sharp who made it. I wish I had a picture to show you maybe you could shed some light on this mystery. [IMG]
This is exactly what it looks like. Sorry for the blunt typing earlier and gra***ude for the interest in helping.

sharp equipment is still being made as such. Not sure on the inline stuff, but Pat was making flathead intakes, but I haven't been able to get one out of him for years.

Al Sharp was into drag racing, google

    mooneyham sharp 554.

not I6 but gives you a bit of an idea what they were into.

    cool piece you have.

i have one also. but i know nothing about it. it hangs on the wall as a sometime project. i think it is just one of many unknown manufactures of speed parts from the 50's.

Yeah I think thats why I was so drawn too this piece. Thinks like this are like gold to me I don't know why. I think its gonna look good on my inline giving it that vintage mutt look. Where did you get your bob308? I got mine off this guy in Hawaii when I was there. He had hanging on his museum wall. That guy was the most humble car dude I've ever met. 50's is what I'm going for thanx bob308 for a time frame. Resting easy.
