Seeing Ted "chopper" Lear's Lincoln just brings back memories when I was in college and was a member of the same model car club he was in, in Lexington. That was almost 20 years ago. Glad to see he is still putting them out.
Thanks, Lyle, for consistently leading the charge; and using your time and camera to keep us all up on the best of what's going on in the hobby. It may sometimes go unmentioned, but is never unappreciated.
Dang! Any model car shows coming up around the Los Angeles area? Thats a nice 50 Olds Gasser gtoeasy64.
Lyle Willits Thanks Buddy for the time and effort. gtoeasy64<SCRIPT type=text/javascript> vbmenu_register("postmenu_5541050", true); </SCRIPT> That is BAD ass. Nice...........
Here are some models I have seen on E-bay lately, you can't buy them all! I love saving pics to the old custom builds ,its a miracle they survive.
I always wanted a Revell 57 Ranchero, and I got one off of e-bay the other week . The guy is still selling his whole collection hes built since the 50's. All of his cars have something special done to them and are detailed good for the times. This car was put together good, and not coming apart anywhere. Look close and you'll see it has a 59 ford front bumper and grille. I didn't notice that until I got it. Paid 18.00 for it. I think that was a good deal.
I put a post up on my new Hover Motor Company blog of my dad's old '40 Ford model. 50-year-old customized '40 Ford model kit survives in spite of the temptation to play with it
