My Clone of Roth's "Outlaw" It Is in the Speedway Motors Museum in Lincoln NE. The best spot on copy you'll ever see. right down to the brake lines & tail pipes! The "Mega Cycle" & my "Outlaw" clone are in a new book by Alan Mayes called "Hot Rods" FRITZ
Another one from Roth Studios circa 1967 the "Druid Princess" I restored the Princess when I lived in Long Island New York. This thing actually Ran & drove ! Became friends with Larry Watson as he guided me through the mysterious "Veiling" process. FRITZ
Although I've always liked Roth, some of his cars were a bit..."unusual". But one I always loved was the Mysterion, here's a pic of Big Daddy and the long-lost original As well as the probably nicer clone
So Fritz, what is the "veiling" process on the druid? Does it have something to do with the paint? Larry
I'd give anything to even SEE the Mysterion clone, and you worked on it??? Very talented man you are...
Dan Woods' Milk Truck: Dave Stuckey's Boot Hill Express: Stuckey's Lil' Coffin: Gene winfield's Strip Star. I think he still owns this one: Cosma Ray by Daryl Starbird:
I had the boot hill express and the lil coffin models when i was younger, the lil coffin allways seemed weird to me without the a pillars. Dig that t phone booth and where has all the angel hair gone.

I have never been the same since I saw Ed Roths Mega Cycle at the state fair in Hutchinson Kansas September of 1967.Fritz let me come to his place to see his restoration of it and I was taken back to that same feeling of awe that I had when I was a kid. Thanks Fritz, that reunion will stay with me for a lifetime.
I just spent a week with Ron Matinez owner of the Invader, a 60''s show car that was a 2 time winner of the AMBR '67 & '68. I was suprised to find out that the body was made out of aluminum. Twin 400 pontiacs, twin auto's and twin jag's outback. It does run as Ron drove it inside the Expo Center at the Louisville Nat's. Ron cleaning it up. Darrel Mayabb, talking to Ron about the Invader.
MIght as well toss this in the ring, not from the 60's but might as well be! my new show rod the "Baja Bandeeto" built out of a VW and other ***orted junk! FRITZ
