I was just hoping there was something hot rod related that the BB rearend could be used for, maybe a huge quick-change or something:D:eek:.

If not,can they be regeared for a highway friendly gear?
From what I understand they come with somethind crazy like 6:1.

I have searched this and found nothing,I am just hoping I missed something.
I just hate the thought of junking this piece of hardware.

Feel free to laugh at me for the huge quick-change idea:p.

Those things are huge. I dont think it would be worth the effort. If you want a giant QC rear get a champ. Ive got one in my driveway. It must weigh 400lbs.

The '32 rear is not the truck rear used for the champ quickchange...that was considerably later. Don't have a reference here on available ratios, but all were super low.

I've got a 31AA axle, a 33BB and a 35bb axle that I have been trying to get rid of.
The closest thing to a road gear that I know of for these axles is a 5:14 ratio. All three of mine are 5:14's. You can get the ratio of yours off of the speedo drive housing.

I hate to s**** any old iron, but these have little to no use for a hotrod. I guess I could start building a fence out of the axle bells since I have six of them.

Use a HD 9 inch with 31 spline axles if you are doing a truck.

Yeah,9 inch is all I've ever used, although I do have a couple champ rear-ends with wide 5 hubs I'd like to use someday.
