ok now i need to know if some make a rotor with that bolt pattern for the fatman cross member and part im doing for it
Fatman crossmember? Are you installing a Mustang II IFS? Wouldn't Fatman be able to help you out? I checked the Speedway site real quick and they do list a 5x5-1/2" rotor. Depends on your spindles and calipers, I would imagine. Here's what they list: http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Ford-F-150-1175-Inch-Brake-Rotor,4312.html
thanks . i got my cross member ovly from fatman the arms spinndle and rotor came off a street rod frame a friend got and never did anything with sure they are gm rotor i think someplace i remember seeing will redrill them a think
they make wheel adapters that go from 5 on 5 1/2 to a smallers size bolt pattren i wonder if i could just flip them? never used them before i have a set of old cast slotted mags that been on this truck since 1973 i'd like to keep them
Beginning in 1956 Merc, probably same for Lincoln. I put '56 Merc front spindles, brakes, and rear end in my '54 Ford Coupe, with '54 Buick steel wheels and hub caps. Everybody said, "Whaaa?' Parts car was a stick Merc, so I used pedals, ******, and everything not welded on! Nice stuff, back then...
Engineered Components makes a brake kit with an aluminum hub, that uses the 5 on 5 1/2 " bolt pattern.
Full size Ford station wagons in the '70s and '80s were 5 on 5", also Ford cop cars (Police Interceptor) had that pattern.
