MarkX...I think you saw the chop work on the car he did at the GasMonkey garage. Also keep in mind the owner did not want him to paint it or "finish it" all the way and it still looks super *****ing! They did a good job making it look like the rest of the car. No slam on Richard intended but damn that car needs paint!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Yes, I remember that one. That car took me a few minutes to figure out how he did it. It was very well executed. I see that car in a deep candy red over a gold base.

Richard Carter has been chopping tops for many years, you should give him a call, if for no other reason that to go my his shop in Krum and check out his work, cause he has some cool stuff.

Tell your friend to save his self a pyle of money and do it himself.Despite what some people think if you can read a tape measure ,have basic welding skills, and some patience any one can chop a car.My advise is to read up on it as much as you can and think about your cuts carefully before you make me.Your friend will like the chop twice as much if he is the one that does it.

  13. That was what I originally advised him to do, but he would rather have someone else do it. His money, his car and I can care less. If it were mine I would be doing it myself. But thanks to all you guys for giving us some leads.
