After all these years, I finally had personal use of a camera at bonneville, and I finally got some shots of my Ol' Jalopy at Dawn. -Unfortunately, I forgot my "Deth-lense" but I'm happy with the shots, all the same. Anyway, I thought I'd share my photos. -Anybody else have any shots of my Sled, or of me and my girl? -I'd love to lay eyes on 'em. This French Cat came rolling in and wanted to take photos for some French publication, so if anybody in Fance sees my lincoln in the pages of a car rag, let me know, will ya? And of course, the old girl had to stall out and not want to start again......Fortunately, it turned out the Battery cable had just come loose. I was sitting on the salt, watching the races with my gal, when a guy walks up, and takes a knee next to me. He says "Roscoe, you don't know me, but I need your help." -Turned out he was part of the "My Three Sons" team. The night before they had run into this Harley Racer; He was moping in town looking all gloomy as hell. Apparrently, he had been building this bike for years, but didn't know all the rules about Bonneville, or something. This team decided They were going to take care of everything for him. and they needed me to do a rush job, and letter his cl*** identafying codes on his tank. That and a fire extinguisher were the last things he needed before he could p*** tech. -It was a happenin' experience. It was my pleasure to get to help, and I made some good friends to boot. I had to jet so if anybody knows how he, or the My Three Sons team did, I'd appreciate hearing. The bike was #1165, running 1350 a/pg. -Thanks guys. And A couple of randoms: I spent a bit of time chattin' it up with the owner of this hudson Wasp. He was really a cool kat, and nice as hell. That's it for now. Hope you all Dig.
Thanks LabRat, Here are a couple more shots from the weekend. Pinstriping and things. Again, more to follow. Again, If anybody has any shots of me, my lincoln, my bikes, or my Gal, I'd REALLY like to see 'em. I know we counted more than 20 Kats snapping shots of us on Sunday night ALONE. -Thanks in advance Everybody.
