I will post the same pictures I did in another similar. This is my woodie collection.. (still have a bunch of special edition hotels and more woodie stuff stored away but no room until the new garage is done)

I see a few toys I would love to have looking threw the other collections That redline collection with track sets is the nicest display I have ever seen, the display boxes are a nice contrast

  4. My brother-in-law's hotwheels and model car collection.
He even has some hotwheels that he has customized and then placed them back in the package like they were never opened.

  5. Bump. I buy 1:18 scale cars from time to time, and I feel like buying a Milner coupe, which is better, the ERTL or the Motor Max? I see the latter for sale all the time.

I've been collecting diecast for about 6 years now but I'm scaling down a bit. Most are Danbury Mint and GMP. Here are what I would call "Hamb friendly" cars. I also collect muscle cars but I wont bore you with those. I've got a few more I don't have pics of like Larry Watsons T-Bird, Barris Ala Kart, 49 Olds Rocket 88, 56 Packard Caribbean, and 58 Pontiac Bonneville. All by Danbury Mint. Oh and one of my newest, GMP's Tommy Ivo 4 engine dragster.

I work at a company that produces the high end diecast cars that many of you have in your collections. I am in the research and design side of things and get to create, modify and spec existing projects (32's and Altereds for example) every day. It's as close to designing cars as I will ever get. The following are some photos from around the office. The dragster, Ferrari and engines are all 1/6 scale and are huge. The last picture is an item that we just released and is a die cast model kit. It is literally one of our cars (primed die cast body) with every option that we have built into one of our 32 projects. Included are 3 engine choices, various suspension choices. You paint it and put it together. Rat Trap is our latest Altered car and is pretty cool. Going to work does not blow!

Don't be modest, you work at THE diecast company. Thanks for posting the "around the office" pics. I look forward to lots more 32's and Rat Trap might just be my first fuel altered.

    Ugh, another bummer thread....

3,000 hot wheels all still in blister packs. 8' wall o water and a couple days later, 3,000 hot wheels in a big rubbermaid tote or two, no more blister packs....

I seen this thread and I had to post. I stopped a few years back and sold about 200 off but I still have too much... The metal dealer name plates on the wall is my new border...

  14. You sir have a sickness. Send me all the '69 Camaro diecasts immediately and I think you'll feel strangely better.

  15. 427L88, that is one impressive collection. I wonder what's the combined weight of all those diecast cars?:D

There may be the equivalent of a real car hanging off your wall! :D

If you go to gmpdiecast.com and click on the 1932 Ford link, at the bottom of the page is the roadster kit. I just put the finishing touches on the 3 window coupe kit which should be out by Christmas.

  17. You got that right!

I probably have more than 1,000 Hot Wheels but not one larger die cast. I like them and that last collection is awesome but for the price, I would rather spend that money on my real cars.

  22. Most of mine are in storage currently.

Over 1000... These are just some loose ones.
